A late spot-kick from WAYNE ANDREWS earned the reserves a 1-0 league win away to Leicester City.
Nicola Ventola (knee) and Danny Butterfield (hernia) continued their comebacks from injury.
The only goal of the game arrived with just three minutes to go. Ryan Hall went on a good run down the middle and laid the ball off to ANDREWS, who managed to get a shot in but was clattered by a City defender at the same time.
The referee awarded a penalty and ANDREWS dusted himself down and converted the spot-kick to give Palace a deserved victory.
Joonas Kolkka and ANDREWS went close to scoring for Palace in the first half and ANDREWS had a header cleared off the line in the second period.
Palace: Speroni, Butterfield (Wanatabe 45), Wilson, Hudson, Wiggins, Hall, Danze, Fray, Kolkka (Berry 65), Ventola, ANDREWS.
Subs not used: Wilkinson, Grabban, Starkey.
